2002 Ford Expedition/Navigator Headlight & Fog Lamp Wiring Diagram (Bottom)
Headlamp and fog lamp wiring schematic (Ford Expedition/Navigator) showing headlamp relay, central junction fuse box (20A fuses), fog lamp relay and switch, hi/lo beam circuits and grounds.
This is the bottom portion of a headlamp and fog lamp wiring diagram, applicable to the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator (both are explicitly named at splice S104/S103). It shows power distribution from the Central Junction Box through Fuse 16 (20A, LT GRN/BLK, high beams), Fuse 28 (10A, DK BLU/WHT, left low beam), Fuse 26 (10A, DK GRN/ORG, right low beam), and Fuse 27 (5A, WHT/BLK, fog lamp switch feed). The headlamp relay resides in the RPO relay box (pins with DK BLU/ORG and RED/YEL wires). The fog lamp circuit runs from Fuse 27 through the fog lamp switch and fog-on indicator in the main light switch (connector C246), energizing the fog lamp relay in the battery junction box (YEL coil, ORG/LT GRN feed, TAN/ORG output at pin 5) to feed the left and right fog lamps via splice S147. The hi-beam indicator in the instrument cluster is fed by GRY/WHT via connector C238. Grounds are shown at G103, G104, and G200 through splices S103/S104 (Expedition/Navigator), S106, S152, and S204. Drawing reference number 152872 appears at the bottom.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuses power the headlights on this Expedition/Navigator diagram?
- Fuse 16 (20A) feeds the high beams via LT GRN/BLK, Fuse 28 (10A) feeds the left low beam via DK BLU/WHT, and Fuse 26 (10A) feeds the right low beam via DK GRN/ORG, all in the Central Junction Box.
- Which fuse feeds the fog lamp switch?
- Fuse 27, a 5A fuse in the Central Junction Box, feeds the fog lamp switch through a WHT/BLK wire to pin 2 of connector C246 at the main light switch.
- Where is the fog lamp relay located and what are its wire colors?
- The fog lamp relay is in the Battery Junction Box. Pin 2 is YEL (coil signal), pin 3 is ORG/LT GRN (power feed), pin 1 is BLK to ground G104 via splice S152, and pin 5 outputs TAN/ORG to both fog lamps via splice S147.
- What wire feeds the hi-beam indicator in the instrument cluster?
- A GRY/WHT wire enters pin 12 of connector C238 to the hi-beam indicator, which grounds through pin 1 of C238 via a BLK wire to splice S204 and ground G200.
- How do the headlamp and fog lamp grounds differ between Expedition and Navigator?
- The right headlamp and fog lamp grounds join at splice S104 on the Expedition or S103 on the Navigator, then go to ground G103.
