1979 Ford Bronco & F100-F350 Backup Lights Wiring Diagram - Fuse 11 Circuit

This page (page 19) from a Ford wiring diagram manual covers the Backup Lights circuit for the Bronco and F100 through F350 trucks. Two schematics are shown side by side: the left applies to the Bronco only and the right to F100-350 pickups. Both circuits are powered through Fuse 11 (15 Amps), hot when the ignition switch is in Accessory or Run, fed by a black/green (bk/gr) wire. Power passes through connector C1015 to the backup light switch, separate switches shown for manual (3 or 4 speed) and automatic transmissions, then out on black/red (bk/r) wiring through connector C1017 to the left and right backup lights, which ground at G1001 and G1002 (eyelets on the "D" pillar reinforcement). The F100-350 diagram also shows branches for Styleside pickup versus all other styles, a splice S1003, and a feed at C1013 for camper backup lights. A legend table lists each component's location and connector description, including connectors C1002, C1004, C1006, C1009, C1013, C1015, C1017, C1204 and C1207 (with shapes, colors, and terminal counts), splices S1003, S1105, S1205, and grounds G1001/G1002.
