1979 Ford Bronco/F100-F350 Glove Box & Cargo Light Wiring Diagram

This page is a color wiring diagram titled "Glove Box Light/Cargo Light" from a Ford truck electrical reference set (community-filed under 1979 Bronco/F100-F350). It shows the interior lighting circuits fed from two "Hot at all Times" sources (referencing Page 9): one through Fuse 7 (15 Amps) and another through an in-line 7.5 amp fuse. Circuit paths, shown with wire color codes such as bk/y (black/yellow), gr/y (grey/yellow), bk/bl (black/blue), w/y (white/yellow), and bk (black), route through the headlight switch, R.H. and L.H. courtesy lamp switches, vanity mirror switch and light, the utility (cargo) lamp switch, and to the dome lamp, cargo lamp, cargo shell switch and light, and the digital AM radio with clock receiver (digital display). Connectors C702 and C202 and grounds G702 and G202 are identified. A legend table gives component locations: the cargo lamp switch is in the LH "B" pillar near the roof; connector C702 (rectangular, brown, 2 terminals) is on the LH side behind the instrument panel; connector C707 (round, black, single terminal) is above the glove box; and ground G702 is an eyelet attached to the center roof brace.
