Scat Connecting Rod Installation Instructions - ARP Bolt Torque & Stretch Specs

This document is an installation instruction sheet from Scat Crankshafts for its connecting rods, titled 'Important Installation Instructions – Please Read Carefully.' It provides a four-step procedure for assembling Scat connecting rods: (1) disassemble the rods and thoroughly clean all parts, including bolt and beam threads, to remove rust preventative; (2) apply ARP Molylube to the threads and under the head of each bolt; (3) install the rods by bringing the cap and beam into alignment, tapping into place before installing bolts — the sheet explicitly warns not to use the bolts to pull the caps into position, and notes that each rod is numbered and must be assembled with the same number on cap and beam; (4) sequentially torque the bolts to the specified torque, not exceeding the maximum stretch specification.
