This document is one page (24-6) of a Ford wiring diagram set covering Engine Controls for the 5.0L engine. It shows the wiring for the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor and the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) as they connect to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). The MAP sensor (connector C1011) uses circuits 359 GY/R (reference), 358 LG/BK (signal), and 351 BR/W (return), with circuit 359 also feeding the VIP Data Link Connector (C198) through splice S137. The HO2S receives keyed power (12V in RUN) on circuit 298 P/O from a 15A fuse (position E) in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box (see Power Distribution, page 13-4), sends its signal to the PCM on circuit 74 GY/LB, and grounds through circuit 57 BK via S100 to ground G101 (see Grounds, page 10-3). A brake input on circuit 511 LG (12V with brake pedal depressed) comes from the Turn/Stop/Hazard Lamps circuit (page 90-2). Notes distinguish wiring with and without E4OD or 4R70W transmissions, with cross-references to E4OD Transmission (page 30-1) and 4R70W Transmission (page 29-3).
