Ford Bronco Tailgate Power Window Wiring Diagram - Switches, Latch & Motor

This is a wiring diagram for a Ford Bronco tailgate power window circuit, credited to community member FireGuy50. It shows two power feeds from the fuse panel: fuse position 14, a 20A circuit breaker that is hot in ACC or RUN, feeding the master tailgate window switch through a LB/BK (light blue/black) wire; and fuse position 12, a 20A circuit breaker hot at all times, feeding the key-operated tailgate window switch through a BK/W (black/white) wire. The master tailgate window switch (up/down) grounds through a BK wire at ground point G701 and connects to the tailgate window switch via P/LG (purple/light green) and PK/LB (pink/light blue) wires through connector 517. The key-operated tailgate window switch outputs a Y/R (yellow/red) wire directly to the tailgate power window motor and a T/BK (tan/black) wire to the tailgate latch switch, which is highlighted in red and annotated as being open when the tailgate is not fully closed. From the latch switch, an R/Y (red/yellow) wire completes the circuit to the tailgate power window motor. The diagram is useful for diagnosing tailgate window failures, especially issues caused by the tailgate latch safety switch interrupting the down circuit.
