Ford 5.0L Thermactor Secondary Air System Diagram - Air Pump & Check Valves

This document is a two-part factory-style schematic of the Thermactor secondary air injection system on a Ford 5.0L V8 engine. The left illustration shows the components installed on the engine as viewed toward the front of the engine, with the air pump, air bypass valve, connecting hose, check valves, and valve assembly highlighted (shaded red in this scan) to show their mounted positions relative to the valve covers, distributor, and front accessory drive. The right illustration is an exploded hose-routing view showing the same components, the belt-driven air pump at the lower right, the air bypass valve connected to it, the hose runs to the valve assembly, and the two check valves in the air delivery tubes leading toward the exhaust, along with the fitting/clamp hardware between each section.
