1996 Ford Bronco Power Distribution Wiring Diagram 13-14 - ACC/RUN Fuse Circuits
Power distribution wiring diagram for the 1996 Ford Bronco showing wiper, HVAC and window-lock circuits.
This is page 13-14 of the 1996 Ford Bronco factory wiring diagrams, covering Power Distribution from the fuse panel (referenced to page 13-3) for circuits hot in ACC or RUN. Four fuse positions are shown: fuse 2 (30A), fuse 6 (15A), fuse 11 (15A), and fuse 14 (20A circuit breaker). Fuse 2 feeds circuit 65 (dark green) through splice S238 to the Wiper Control Module (connector C224) and Windshield Wiper Motor (C151), both on page 81-1. Fuse 6 feeds circuit 182 (brown/white) to the Remote/Keyless Entry Module (C241, page 111-1, with keyless entry only) and via splice S229 to the A/C-Heater Control Assembly (C296, page 54-3, with A/C) or Heater Control Assembly (page 53-2, without A/C). Fuse 11 feeds circuit 137 (violet/black) to the Radio (C211, pages 130-1/130-2, with premium sound connectors C257F/C257M) and the Main Light Switch IGN terminal (C273, page 13-15). Fuse 14 feeds circuit 400 (light blue/black) through C207, C274, C200, C214 and splice S502 to the Master Tailgate Window Switch (page 100-2), the master/left Window/Door Lock Control Switch (C503), and the Right Window and Door Lock Control Switch (C603), page 100-1. Wire colors, connector numbers, pin numbers, and cross-reference pages are shown throughout.

Frequently asked questions
- What fuse powers the windshield wipers on a 1996 Ford Bronco?
- Fuse 2, a 30A fuse in the fuse panel, feeds circuit 65 (dark green) to the Wiper Control Module (connector C224) and the Windshield Wiper Motor (connector C151), per page 81-1.
- What fuse feeds the radio and main light switch on the 96 Bronco?
- Fuse 11 (15A) feeds circuit 137 (violet/black) to the Radio at connector C211 (pages 130-1, 130-2) and to the Main Light Switch IGN terminal at connector C273 (page 13-15).
- What circuit powers the power windows and door locks in the 1996 Bronco?
- Fuse 14, a 20A circuit breaker, feeds circuit 400 (light blue/black) through connector C207 to the Master Tailgate Window Switch (C274), the master/left Window/Door Lock Control Switch (C503), and the Right Window and Door Lock Control Switch (C603).
- What wire color feeds the heater/AC control assembly on a 96 Bronco?
- Circuit 182, brown/white (BR/W), from fuse 6 (15A) via splice S229 to connector C296 pin 5, whether equipped with A/C (A/C-Heater Control Assembly, page 54-3) or without A/C (Heater Control Assembly, page 53-2).
- When are these circuits powered?
- The diagram is labeled 'HOT IN ACC OR RUN,' so these fuse panel circuits have power with the ignition in the accessory or run position.
