This is a color-coded wiring diagram titled "'95 Bronco BOO" covering the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch, turn signal, hazard, and stop lamp circuits on a 1995 Ford Bronco. Power originates from two 15A fuses in the fuse panel: fuse 7 (hot in RUN, feeding the turn flasher via circuit 8 O/Y shared with the rear window defroster feed) and fuse 13 (hot at all times, feeding the hazard flasher and BOO switch via circuit 383 R/W and 10 LG/R). The multi-function switch (C231) routes flasher output (44 LB from the turn flasher, 385 W/R from the hazard flasher) to left and right turn circuits: 9 LG/O and 5 O/LB to the rear park/stop/turn lamps (C431, C432), and 3 LG/W and 2 W/LB to the front park/turn lamps (C1031, C1032) and instrument cluster turn indicators (C250, C251). The BOO switch output on circuit 511 LG branches at splice S240 to the trailer electronic brake control unit, shift lock actuator, speed control, 4WABS control module (C119 pin 35), PCM (C185 pin 2, E4OD/4R70W only), and via circuit 569 DG to the outside cargo/high-mount stop lamps (C907). Ground paths use circuit 57 BK to G100, G101, and G201. Explanatory callouts describe flasher and BOO switch operation.

This document covers 1995, which may differ from this 1983 Ford Bronco.

Frequently asked questions

What fuses power the turn signal and hazard circuits on a 1995 Ford Bronco?
Per the diagram, fuse 7 (15A, hot in RUN) powers the turn flasher, and fuse 13 (15A, hot at all times) powers the hazard flasher and the Brake On/Off (BOO) switch.
What does the BOO (Brake On/Off) switch do?
The diagram states it is closed with the brake pedal depressed, allowing current flow to operate the stop lamps. Its output on circuit 511 LG also feeds the trailer electronic brake control unit, shift lock actuator, speed control, 4WABS control module, PCM, and high-mount stop lamps.
What wire color is the brake switch output circuit?
Circuit 511, light green (LG), which branches at splice S240; it continues as circuit 569 DG (dark green) to the outside cargo/high-mount stop lamps at C907.
Which wires feed the front turn signal lamps?
Circuit 3 LG/W feeds the left front park/turn lamp through C202 and C1031, and circuit 2 W/LB feeds the right front park/turn lamp through C202 and C1032.
Does the brake switch signal go to the PCM?
Yes: 511 LG goes to the powertrain control module at connector C185 pin 2, but the diagram notes this applies only with the E4OD or 4R70W transmission.
