1995 Ford Bronco 5.8L Engine Controls Wiring Diagram - PCM, Injectors, IAC (25-2)
Wiring diagram of 5.8L engine controls showing fuel injectors, idle air control valve, EVAP purge, and secondary air solenoids.
This document is page 25-2 of a Ford factory wiring diagram set covering Engine Controls for the 5.8L engine, part of a multi-page 1995 Bronco electrical schematic collection. It shows the PCM-controlled output devices: the Secondary Air Injection Bypass (AIRB) solenoid (C1022, circuit 190 W/O), Secondary Air Injection Diverter (AIRD) solenoid (C1023, circuit 200 BR), EVAP canister purge valve (C171, circuit 101 GY/V), Idle Air Control (IAC) valve (C1007, circuit 264 W/LB), and all eight fuel injectors (connectors C190–C197, fed by circuit 361 R from S136 on page 25-1, with return circuits 555/556/559 in T and W wire colors). Callout boxes explain each component's function, e.g., the IAC valve controls idle speed via PCM duty cycle, and the injectors are PCM-controlled and mounted at each intake port. The bottom of the page shows the Powertrain Control Module (solid state) with numbered pins (51, 11, 6, 3, 21, 38, 13, 52, 55, 48, 42, 53, 30, 32, 41) and circuits leading to the All-Wheel Drive system (page 34-1), Vehicle Speed Sensor (page 64-1), and E4OD transmission (pages 30-1, 30-2). Splices S149, S151, S159, S160 and connectors C101M/C101F and C185 are identified. Notes flag circuits that are 12V when the relay is energized.

Frequently asked questions
- What wire color and circuit number feed the fuel injectors on the 5.8L Bronco?
- The injectors are fed by circuit 361 with a Red (R) wire, coming from splice S136 on page 25-1 and distributed through splices S149 and S151 to injector connectors C190 through C197.
- What circuit connects the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve to the PCM?
- The IAC valve (connector C1007) connects to PCM pin 21 via circuit 264, a White/Light Blue (W/LB) wire. The other side is 12V with the relay energized.
- What does the EVAP canister purge valve do according to this diagram?
- When the PCM grounds the solenoid, fuel vapors collected by the carbon canister are released to the engine. It uses connector C171 and circuit 101 GY/V to PCM pin 31.
- Which PCM circuits go to the E4OD transmission?
- Circuits 925 W/V, 315 P/O, 237 O/Y, 924 BR/O, 923 O/BK, 480 P/Y, 199 LB/V, 911 W/LG, and 224 T/W run from the PCM to the E4OD transmission, shown on pages 30-1 and 30-2.
- What are the AIRB and AIRD solenoid circuits?
- The Secondary Air Injection Bypass (AIRB) solenoid (C1022) uses circuit 190 W/O to PCM pin 51, and the Secondary Air Injection Diverter (AIRD) solenoid (C1023) uses circuit 200 BR to PCM pin 11.
